This training will incorporate Behavioural Insights and Nudge Theory to identify some of the barriers affecting behaviour change, strategies to overcome the barriers and best practice ideas for encouraging positive desired behaviours.

• Have a clear understanding of Behavioural Insights and Nudge Theory
• Based on this understanding have explored some ideas for encouraging positive relationships with residents and colleagues, joint problem solving and successful outcomes
• Understand the importance of and know how to build trust and rapport quickly and effectively
• Identify and overcome barriers that can cause communication breakdown
• Negotiate effectively to achieve win-win outcomes
• Manage difficult situations with confidence and assertion
